When the sun rises from the horizon
It reminds us of its' slumber.
But it brings with it such radiance
a bright light that illuminates all.
When the wind blows in the plains,
With loud resounding whispers
it reminds us of it chill.
But it sweeps away all the dirt and grit
revealing pathways to splendid fields.
When the lion roars across the Savannah
He reminds us of the ferociousness underneath
But he creates a great revelation,
A dawning that territories exist.
When the giraffe cranes for succulent leafs,
He reminds us of a purpose,
A burning desire to beat the odds.
Because there are no limits
To what one can achieve. _________________ alcohol may be man's worst enemy. but the bible says love your enemy

LolaB says that when you send an original poem you sign it and claim copyright. Having it done that constitutes publication and yes you can claim you originated it by quoting it as first appearing in Mchongoano and the date. I think I agree with her. of course assuming you want one day you want to publish an anthology! _________________ Great minds discuss ideas; ordinary minds, events; simple minds, people; simpletons, sheep.
