So said Shakespeare in HAMLET when Hamlet's mother so fast changes her there before loyal love to another man after the father's departure.
However, the same is true about women when it comes to fashion - and body image.
No matter how much you tell her how good she looks she will go to the gym and shopping to conform with her women friends taste and shape!
Some survey says a woman wears for herself - ati to feel good. balderdash!
She does for:
1. To compete with other women including cover gals on fashion magazines,
2. The gal her husband ogles at,
3. For the man,
and finally,
4. For herself.
In that order.
And poor you if you are lucky not to foot the bill, then you have to pay by being harassed with 'how do I look in this and that dress?'
As if what you say will matter!

it is very easy to Audit a womans' account because you know, money flows in bulk, that cheque from employer but flows out rarely, loan/gift(gift being rare) to her mother ,child, or friend.
the hardest job you can get is to Audit a womans Wardrobe... you will never finish the Audit, at the end of the day when you think you are done she walks past a hawker, she spots a colleague , or a model with a clothe she likes and adds up the incomes. _________________ Undead :when tragedy strikes a wise man consoles himself that what happened to him was inevitable and moves on,

Yes, no matter how much equality we put into it, the wardrobe remains untouched. so is her sense of looking good.
You wonder what is is all about. remember the phillipino first lady who had a million pair of shoes?
Some should design a wardrobe psychological test. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas; ordinary minds, events; simple minds, people; simpletons, sheep.

She serves you a wonderful dish and you scream with delight - I know what you are thinking naughty - and after you are done, she asks "How was it?" Wonderful!
"Was it too dry or soggy?" I loved it!
"Was the meat lean or tight?" ZZZZ.......ZZSnoring..
SHE WILL ASK THE SAME QUESTIONS TOMORROW NIGHT, ANYWAY. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas; ordinary minds, events; simple minds, people; simpletons, sheep.
All you do is whine and complain about women... Nothing new just the same old women are this that and the other.... Can't you ever come up with something positive? All your equality talk means nothing when it seems you have nothing good to say....

Untighten a little bit, lady. Do we enjoy looking at our differences! You know women too talk about men.
Actually, I put in the zzsnoring bit because that is what women say we do! Actually we do - now you know why! _________________ Great minds discuss ideas; ordinary minds, events; simple minds, people; simpletons, sheep.

Oh dear you're wrong, so wrong: old sheep LOVES women - and not only for the reason you think! what they done to me? they've given me love, they've given me kids, they've given me a passion, they've given me life.......
But I want them strong, phenomenally.
I want to know their mystery, the spring in their step, the arch of their back, the strength of a woman.....
Do you not also laugh at those women who want to be so comically feminine?
Yea, I want a woman who lives in a world of strength - not letting men (patriarchy) trample all over her.....
And there can be no bitterness in that! _________________ Great minds discuss ideas; ordinary minds, events; simple minds, people; simpletons, sheep.

Renee, that was the spirit of this thread: that men and women have their peculiarities - but in analysis you will find they are just generalisations and stereotypes.
I hope this brings back the thread to its course.... _________________ Great minds discuss ideas; ordinary minds, events; simple minds, people; simpletons, sheep.
